Down Island Adventure - Getting Started

Another great trip is in the books!

We started this trip by flying into St. Thomas, USVI. As usual, we grabbed our bags and hopped a taxi to Red Hook where our first guest, Will, awaited.

Once Capt Dirk and First Mate Sandy arrived we were almost ready to shove off on our down island adventure. First, Captain Dirk had to make the all-important stop at Neptune 's bait and tackle to be sure we were thoroughly equipped for our fishing expeditions. We got some interesting new tackle that we’d never used before and left our mooring ball shortly thereafter headed for Maho Bay, St. John, where Capt. Dirk wanted to get in a little pre-crossing kite boarding.
