Meet Captain Robert "Rooster" and First Mate Maya and share in their passion for boating, fun and adventure!
Captain Robert "Rooster" Bredeck hails from Michigan but has called St. Thomas home for over a decade. He has led snorkel trips around the island, raced 40' sailboars and has served as Captain and Dive Master on both Captain Only and All-Inclusive yachts. Well versed in the USVI and BVI destinations, Captain Robert looks forward to sharing his love of the water, and his enthusiasm for all things sailing.
Chef/Mate Maya loves to share her passion for traveling and adventure with the guests on Catatonic! She loves life on the water and spreads joy through the delicious meals she prepares for her guests. Some of her favorites include Mahi Mahi with lime butter sauce, seared duck breast and tuna tartare! Maya is always creating something fabulous in the galley!
Maya is also a guitarist and vocalist and she often she treats the guests to a sing-along. When she is not in the galley, Maya enjoys immersing herself in the different culture of a new country, visiting art galleries and museums, and of course, sampling and experimenting with the local cuisine.
